To stay true to its reputation for privacy-first, luxury experiences, the brand aspired to leverage Web3 technology as an engine of innovation. Cashless, token-based, and immersive, tech-driven engagement; from loyalty rewards to AR campaigns to interactive virtual experiences, guests wanted it all.
The client wanted a blockchain-powered digital ecosystem to unify physical resort services, mobile and web apps, and a gamified metaverse layer, all secured by a custom ERC-20 utility token.

The client faced a complex set of challenges that demanded a blockchain-driven solution. For customers, this caused a fragmented experience with physical resort services, loyalty programs, and digital touchpoints being siloed while also lacking an on-premise native digital currency, which necessitated routing all transactions at the resort through traditional channels, creating congestion and data privacy implications.
At the same time, membership perks, gamification elements, and emerging metaverse experiences lacked a unified infrastructure, preventing meaningful tokenized engagement. They also demanded a potential solution that could serve as the foundation for a secure and scalable digital ecosystem, one that did not require an outright replacement of the legacy booking and operational platforms (which would have been both risky and cost-prohibitive to fully replace) but rather complement the current systems.

The hospitality group wanted to create a frictionless guest experience by bringing together physical and digital services, offering in-app private cashless transactions independent of the traditional banking system, and deploying engaging game-based apps that foster brand affinity. At the same time, they wanted a flexible and future-ready architecture with support for multi-property expansion and white-label services combined with consistent booking, loyalty programs, and access to all of their services in one unified way.

Implementation
The project started with a discovery and architecture design phase, which included an audit of guest journeys and compliance requirements from all operations across the client’s global business. During this stage, we mapped out all the important touchpoints, pinpointed where friction lay, and defined an ecosystem powered by a token that integrated seamlessly with the client’s legacy infrastructure. The strategy was implemented with a focus on security, scalability, and no disruption to daily operations from the start.
The development phase started with the launch of a custom ERC-20 utility token, which was integrated into the resort’s booking and access systems through secure Node.js APIs. This made private, real-time payments possible and created the foundation for loyalty programs and token-based memberships. React Native mobile apps for iOS and Android followed, featuring embedded wallet connectivity and in-app token transactions, with OAuth 2.0 safeguarding user sessions and data security.
To drive deeper engagement, Jelvix introduced a Unity-powered 3D metaverse environment, extending the token economy into gamified experiences and virtual rewards. Guests could explore virtual resorts and spend tokens on exclusive areas, digital upgrades, and reward-based interactions, all synced to their physical resort profile. Smart contracts powered loyalty tiers and automated membership benefits, transforming digital activity into real-world perks and creating a unified, multi-platform guest journey.
Finally, the ecosystem was prepared for governance and multi-property expansion through a white-label deployment toolkit and a DAO-ready contract layer. The platform scaled to support localized service catalogs and unified wallet continuity, enabling fast adoption across multiple resorts. Continuous feedback loops and pilot testing in select properties ensured that performance, usability, and cross-platform interactions were optimized before the global rollout.
